An FEDBP focus report on the world
movers' latest move toward
a one-world religion (June 30, 2011)
Good evening brother and sisters in Christ
and friends,
I'm sure some of you have already seen
this, but I'm posting several articles that I do hope people will share to
expose this new false teaching. 'Chrislam' is Rick Warren's latest monster
religious creation (with help from others, of course). And this past Sunday,
more than 50 so-called churches read from the Koran during their 'services'. (Editor's notes: I do not know if I respect all of the views of
those I post here. These just seemed to be helpful articles from a Biblical
perspective on the subject.)

Before I conclude this short report
here at 'Foundations of Evangelism, Discipleship and Biblical Preaching',
I do need to make it clear that for all of those who believe the Word of God to
be true and base their faith in it, God's Word (the Bible) is clear - the 'god'
of Islam and the LORD of the Bible are 2 different beings - not the same. There
are many reasons for this, but among them are the Islam rejects that Jesus was
100% God in human flesh, they just trivialize Him as a 'prophet' or 'good
teacher'.
Yet, in the Bible, God says: "... let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel,
that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God
raised from the dead, by Him this man stands here before you whole. This is the
'stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the chief
cornerstone.' Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name
under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:10-12)
And Jesus Himself said:
"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No
one comes to the Father except through Me.'" (John 14:6)
"I and My Father are one. Then the Jews took up stones again to
stone Him." (John 10:30-31)
Jesus also claimed to be God in other
places as well - John 6:35, John 8:12, John 10:7,9,11, 14, John 10:36-37,
John 11:25, John 15:1 - ("I Am" statements);
Another passage:
"Jesus said to them, 'Most assuredly, I say to you, before
Abraham was, I AM.'" (John 8:58)
I believe there are others, but those
are the only ones I'm familiar with. Also, there are other differences that
stand out in my mind *verses are posted below*:
> The God of the Bible says that
all murder is wrong (Exodus 20:13, Deuteronomy 5:17, Matthew 5:21-22) ; the
'god' of Islam allows followers to murder certain individuals they consider to
be of lesser value than them.
> The God of the Bible calls for
repentance from our rebellious choices and our trying to justify ourselves with
good works (Acts 3:19, Acts 17:30); the 'god' of Islam calls his 'followers' to
keep 5 pillars to become good enough for Heaven.
> The God of the Bible is holy and
perfect and will punish all sin in Hell for all eternity, except for those who
are covered by the blood of Jesus (Isa), the Lamb of God (1st John 2:1-6); the
'god' of Islam allows all kinds of perversion to be done to 'lesser' people,
and overlooks many sins, including murder.
> The God of the Bible is predictable
and dependable (Isaiah 1:18, Malachi 3:6, Hebrews 13:8); the 'god' of Islam is
fickle and untrustworthy - a follower of him never knows if he's done enough to
appease him or not.
> The God of the Bible teaches His
followers to love people, even their enemies, and even to go out of their way
to do good for their enemies (Matthew 5:44, Luke 6:27, 35); the 'god' of Islam
calls for the murder of their enemies.
> The God of the Bible never
contradicts Himself in His Word once (Numbers 23:19, Romans 3:4); the 'god' of
Islam contradicts himself and his 'prophet' a whole lot.
Though the spiritual author of Islam
is the one that Jesus called: "a
murderer from the beginning" (John 8:44) and the one who
comes to "steal, kill and destroy"
(John 10:10), those who follow that 'god' are not our enemies. Satan is the
enemy of every single human being and he never will tell the truth to anyone -
there's always at least one lie in everything he says, for he is a "liar and the father of it"
(John 8:44). Satan is the mortal enemy of each and every soul. But those who
follow Satan or false religions must not be treated as enemies of followers of
Christ, but reached out to as human beings whom Satan wants to destroy, but
whom Jesus, God's Son, wants us to lead to the cross of Calvary for the
forgiveness of their sins, so they can obey and serve Him too.

Exodus 20:13
"You shall not murder."
Deuteronomy 5:17
"You shall not murder."
Matthew 5:21-22
"You have heard that it was said to those of old, 'You shall not
murder, and whoever murders will be in danger of the judgment.' But I say to
you that whoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger
of the judgment. And whoever says to his brother, 'Raca!'
shall be in danger of the council. But whoever says, 'You fool!' shall be in
danger of hell fire."

Acts 3:19
"Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted
out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and
that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before, whom heaven must
receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by
the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began."
Acts 17:30
"God, who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord
of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands. Nor is He
worshiped with men's hands, as though He needed anything, since He gives to all
life, breath, and all things... we ought not to think that the Divine Nature is
like gold or silver or stone, something shaped by art and man's devising.
Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men
everywhere to repent..."

1st John 2:1-6
"My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may
not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ
the righteous. And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for
ours only but also for the whole world. Now by this we know that we know Him,
if we keep His commandments. He who says, 'I know Him,' and does not keep His
commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever keeps His
word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in
Him. But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By
this we know that we are in Him. He who says he abides in Him ought himself
also to walk just as He walked."
>>>
Isaiah 1:18
"'Come now, and let us reason together,' Says the LORD, 'Though
your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red
like crimson, They shall be as wool.'"
Malachi 3:6
"For I Am the LORD, I do not change..."
Hebrews 13:8-9
"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Do not
be carried about with various and strange doctrines."
>>>
Matthew 5:44-46
"But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you,
do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and
persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His
sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the
unjust. For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even
the tax collectors do the same?"
Luke 6:27-35
"But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those
who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use
you. To him who strikes you on the one cheek, offer the other also. And from
him who takes away your cloak, do not withhold your tunic either. Give to
everyone who asks of you. And from him who takes away your goods do not ask
[them] back. And just as you want men to do to you, you also do to them
likewise. But if you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For
even sinners love those who love them. And if you do good to those who do good
to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. And if you
lend to those from whom you hope to receive back, what credit is that to you?
For even sinners lend to sinners to receive as much back. But love your
enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will
be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the
unthankful and evil."

Numbers 23:19
"God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He
should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He
not make it good?"
Romans 3:4
"Certainly not! Indeed, let God be true but every man a liar. As
it is written: 'That You may be justified in Your words, And may overcome when
You are judged.'"
John 8:44
"You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father
you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the
truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from
his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it." - Jesus said this to a particular group that wanted to
murder Him, and they were out of line, so He was accurately rebuking them.
John 10:10
"The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to
destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more
abundantly."
