a Short FEDBP review of the Harry Potter book series

(this article is mostly just short synopsis of all 8 main books in the Harry Potter series)

Hello brothers and sisters in Christ (and friends),

As many of you know, I strongly believe God alerted me to the Harry Potter series to study it and take it apart right now, and slowly I believe I'm figuring out why. As most of you reading this will know, Harry Potter is a work of fiction (as they say) written supposedly by one lady (there's a team and I can explain that later), and that lady of course is named JK Rowling - or Joanne Rowling, and she borrowed the K from her aunt Katherine. The Harry Potter set is not something to just walk into - it has some very dark and demonic-alluring aspects and topics to it. I know that I would not have been ready for this study last year, but it seems I'm more prepared this year - so if this is too heavy a topic, consider glancing through this set of articles rather than digging deeply into it. But, if you are a parent and have children in the public/pagan "school" system controlled by the Rockefellers and their UN control grid, then you need to know that the Harry Potter series here is mandatory reading for all children in the public school system. As a parent, that should alarm you - yes, you read that right, mandatory reading. So, while you are excited that your kiddos are reading, satan is using these books to educate them that God is mostly a figment of their imagination, witchcraft and working with demons is okay, and even sexual jokes are okay at times. No, I'm not joking - all of those are in these books and movies. It's called indoctrination - it's not your average fiction reading series. In addition to those concerning details, this set also teaches the child multiple different ways of how to study witchcraft and practice it among their peers.

The good news is that many people in the US know how to pray to some extent, and many many people in the US know how to pray that God would protect their children from getting into the "deep things of satan", and God answers those prayers - seemingly even somewhat from non-Christians too. Point being, your prayers for God to protect your child from learning witchcraft are heard and God usually does things to limit their ability to get very far in. The key thing is that you need to walk holy for the sake of your prayers. If you are watching things that are immersed in witchcraft nuances and/or "action" movies with seductive women - your prayers do not hold until you get that right with God. To fully protect your children, grow in learning and obeying God, and also praying. Those are truly effective prayers. Also remember, prayer is a conversation with God - not calling for a "higher being" to answer our version of spells or curses. And one more thing to always remember - your children notice what you do and copy that far more than what you say. If you are curious about satanic things, they will be too. If you are watching perverse or sexually-themed things, they will too. So, get things right with God, work to kick that trash vendor (TV) further out of your house as well as fiction/fantasy books and novels, and replace it with playing the Word of God (especially the New Testament). The more you do that, the more your home will have God's protection and blessing, and with more training and trials from God to purify you so He can use you to help turn others from sin to Jesus. Sounds like a great offer, yes?

So, in this FEDBP series, there are (expectedly) going to be between 3 to 5 parts. The first (this article/report) is a short synopsis of the book set so you can grasp it's direction and content in really short form, with some analysis afterwards. The second and/or third parts will be analyzing the direction of the books from a Biblical viewpoint, as well as working to use God's Word to re-map our world, because satan uses a lot of false definitions and false words that confuse us. So, digging into God's Word to understand it His way helps us understand the Creator who loves us, how much a problem sin is, how to get right with Him and grow in holiness, and how to help others to pull out of sins and get right with Jesus too. It's pretty simple, but sometimes very deep, amen? Amen. So, with that little intro, let's dig into a short synopsis of the books.

So, what we are about to look at is a set of 7 books and she vowed that her book writing (concerning the Harry Potter set) was done. Period. Well... that promise of no more books didn't stand, because that set of 7 then became 8 in 2016. Book 8 is not really a part of set, it's really meant to try to advertise and draw people back into the set to read it, and also to sort of set a stage for the next generation in how to teach their children "life" but in the case of the Harry Potter set, "life" is always synonymous with witchcraft and pagan mythologies and potions and curses and spells, etc. As you can see - it's only got one direction - satan's deepest false religions and most crafty lies.

So, with that short synopsis, also realize that each book builds on the previous one. If you ever endeavor to read through this series of books to try to catch some of satan's lies, my suggestion is to not read every word - kind of scan and glean. I typically read two-thirds of the books, and watched enough clips of the films on google-owned youtube. I find that being sporadic keeps me from being locked into their trance of having to/wanting to read every word. In an up-coming article (Lord willing) I plan to give each book an individual report... but for now (meaning this article/report), what I can do is a short one on each, and then some really short notes to conclude. Please know that I have to write these short synopsis-es from the book's perspectives. My other articles will work to set the world aright... I wish I could do it differently, but to follow the story, I see it best to try to help you follow the plots from the dark witchcraft world and thinking of the books themselves. Please keep in mind that (as usual) the books and movies do not completely match. However many of the details do overlap. So, let's take a look at the books, shall we?

"Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" (called the HP & the Philosopher's Stone" in UK - this is the only book with a different title in the US vs the UK from what I can tell.)

> Placement and short details: Book 1 of 8 in the Harry Potter series. This book covers Harry's the year/9 months of Harry's first school year at Hogwarts, and was published in 1997. Harry is almost 11 years old at the start of the book (during summer) and then goes to "school". Harry's birthday is in the summer sometime, but I can't place its date, but it is in late July.

> Main characters: Harry, his parents, then the "muggle" or non-magical family relatives of Harry's Mom - her sister, the Dursleys. Then Ron and Hermoine - 2 different families. Then various professors, and the Hogwarts headmaster Albus Dumbledore.

> Short synopsis of the story: Harry's parents are a wizard (male satanist) and a witch (female satanist), and they work on the staff at Hogwarts. But tragically both of Harry's parents were murdered by a very strong wizard just after Harry was born. The evil/dark wizard's name is Voldemort, though most people try not to say his name so as not to "evoke" him. Voldemort murders both of Harry's parents and then tries to murder Harry... but the love-charm-shield spell that his Mom casts and solidifies with her sacrificial death - dying to protect Harry, protect Harry from being killed. Instead, Voldemort gets his own curse back into his face and is apparently wounded, so he leaves until he can figure out how to come back and kill Harry. Harry is quickly snatched up by a smaller giant named Hagrid before the muggles in the village show up. Hagrid, of course, is working closely with headmaster Dumbledore who's close friends with Harry's parents. Harry is then whisked away to somewhere safe - Harry's Mom's sister's home. And that's where Harry is raised - the Dursley's home. The Dursleys are a very "muggle" family. Meaning? They don't think that magic exists at all (notice the mock of Christians here) and they refuse to think of things in any supernatural way at all. They even go out of their way to mock and insult wizards and witches in a self-righteous way. That is the Dursley's. This family tries really hard to keep Harry from finding out how his parents really died and try to keep him out of magic. But then the owls come with the letters. And lots of them. So the Dursleys take Harry to an island... but they can't escape the "friendly" wizards - meaning Dumbledore and his team. Why? Because Harry is just about to turn 11 and he can now attend Hogwarts, and not only that, but he is the only one to survive a killing curse, so he is quite famous in the wizarding world, and especially at Hogwarts. So, Hagrid goes and gets him, uses some gold that his parents left Harry (but he knew nothing about) and buys the necessary items for wizarding school, including his own owl - a snowy white one. The Hagrid takes Harry back to the Dursleys and he and Harry ask them to take Harry to the train station in the morning. Harry gets there in the morning, and he's been told that he's looking for the train platform called 9 and 3/4 (usually written 9¾). The problem is that to a "muggle" (UK term, "no-mag" in the US), they can't see the 9¾ platform. All they see is 9 and 10. So, as Harry is trying to figure out how to get there, the Weasleys come up with several of their children including Ron. Mrs. Weasley shows Harry how to get on the train, and Ron demonstrates - so starts a friendship. You have to walk (more like slight run) through the wall between the 9 and 10 platforms, and then *poof* you are on the seemingly slightly underground platform of 9¾. Harry and Ron choose a cabin on the "magical" Hogwarts Express, and then the train takes off. A young lady pops in trying to find some friends, and then sees Harry and is very "proper", but glad to meet him, and decides to join them - her name is Hermoine. Thus the close friendship of this trio begins...

There would be a lot more detail to go into - on each book. So, with that glimpse, now I'll just give you the short details from the rest of the of the book. Harry gets to school, is "sorted" into the Gryffindor house by the "sorting hat" that can read your mind, heart, and future. The four houses at Hogwarts are Gryffindor, Hufflepuff,  Ravenclaw and the evil-leaning Slytherin (why it's there is a huge question). So, Harry gets put in a good house, and a pretty "honorable" one with a "good" name, if you can say that any wizards have a "good" name. Anyway, first year at Hogwarts, and Harry learns the "simple" things about wizardry including spells and potions, and other wizarding practices (real and imaginary). Learning "wizardry" takes 8 years (we plan to explain the significance of that, later). But, Harry is not one to just sit around and enjoy class (he doesn't much like studying, but is enjoying it somewhat), so he sometimes will break the rules and go exploring around this castle-like "school". One night, he stumbles across a "magic" mirror that supposed shows you the desires of your heart. In this case, it's Harry's parents, and they are glad to see him (note talking to the dead). They warn him that there is a special thing of "magic" that is in the castle and a dark wizard/lord is trying to steal it, so Harry has to find the clues and protect it from getting into the wizard's hands... turns out, it's Voldemort himself trying to get a stone/crystal called the "sorcerer's stone" that is only made by a "special" type of magic and spells. One of the professors is working to help Voldemort obtain it, named Quirrel. Harry brings Ron and Hermoine along to help him. Getting to the stone is very hard to do - it takes solving puzzles and riddles, fighting off some magical beasts and things, and using "magic" spells that they barely know, but "as fate would have it", it works. They barely stop Voldemort from obtaining the stone. Voldemort is reduced to only being a spirit being now, now looking for a body so he can return to his former strength and conquer Hogwarts (and the world). And Dumbledore is there to destroy the stone and commends Harry and Ron and Hermoine for his/their self-sacrifice and bravery. The year ends with the end-of-the-school-year feast and everyone goes home for the summer.

"Harry Potter and Chamber of Secrets"

> Placement and short details: Book 2 of 8 in the Harry Potter series. This book covers Harry's the year/9 months of Harry's second school year at Hogwarts, and was published in 1999. Harry is almost 12 years old at the start of the book (during summer) and then turns 12 late July, and goes to school.

> Main characters: The "muggle" relatives the Dursleys, Harry, Ron, and Hermoine, and various professors, and Dumbledore.

> Short synopsis of the story: Harry Potter is in grave danger, but doesn't realize it yet. Harry has now thwarted Voldemort's plans twice and he is in a rage... but stays hidden as he plans his attack(s). But, Voldemort also has friends in high-places at Hogwarts, including some on staff. One of them gets a magic elf named Dobby to befriend Harry, but also to work to stop the Hogwarts letters (by owl) from getting to him, and also to find some way of stopping Harry from getting to Hogwarts, which he does pretty effectively... The elf even blocks Harry from being able to get to the 9¾. Now they can't get to school since they just missed the train... That is, until Ron realizes they can borrow his Dad's "magical" flying car to get to Hogwarts instead. Harry and Ron make it to school... but the car is badly damaged, and they are late - and in a lot of trouble. But, most of that works out quickly. Professor Snape (seemingly enemy of Harry's Dad and him) punishes him whenever he can - and does so for his lateness too. Aside from that, school goes well overall.

This year, Harry gets into the wizarding version of the British game "cricket" - this is called "Quidditch", and it's done on brooms with "magic" flying rocks, and baskets etc. Everything seems to be going normal as expected... until one student is paralyzed and stunned and no one can seem to revive her, and no one know how it happened. Then another one. Then another one. Then someone (or something) starts writing on the walls with blood - one of the messages being: "The Chamber of Secrets is open". The number of students getting paralyzed increases - even Hermoine is stunned/paralyzed. Ron and Harry get into action trying to find all of the clues that they can to solve this and stop whatever monster, creature, or whatever is doing this. Even some seemingly friends of Voldemort are questioned... but nope, apparently Professor Severus Snape and Ministry official Lucius Malfoy are not involved. Then Harry gets a hold of a secret diary... a mysterious one at that. There are no words in it... and yet, it's clearly been used or is being used. When Harry is alone, he starts to write in this diary. Sure enough, the words he wrote disappeared. But then something else strange happens - the diary writes back, and then those words disappear. Now, there is a conversation with this invisible entity behind this. Harry talks with this invisible being this way over a few days and finally convinces the being to help him solve the Chamber of Secrets mystery. After quickly comparing notes with Ron and the revived Hermoine, Harry follows clues and goes down to somewhere way below Hogwarts, through a drain in the ladies bathroom. Harry brought Ron and a professor along. The professor knocks himself out, so Ron stays with him, but Harry goes all the way into the underground chamber.

There he finds a girl - no, it's Ginny. And she's paralyzed and stunned. Then a boy shows up. He says his name is Tom Riddle - the name of the one who owned that diary. The full name is Tom Marvolo Riddle, which the boy shows to Harry when re-arranged equals the phrase "I Am Lord Voldemort". So, 50 years after Voldemort attending Hogwarts, he's returned in the form of a boy to take over, and the only one standing in his way is Harry. So, Riddle/Voldemort calls out the thing that's causing the stunnings/paralyzings. And after some loud noises, it makes its way out into the chamber - it's a basilisk (mythical really large snake). Dumbledore's phoenix shows up just in time to give Harry the sorting hat and the sword inside which Harry uses to kill the snake. Then Harry proceeds to take a took of the basilisk and puncture the diary - after doing so multiple times, Riddle/Voldemort is in much pain and disappears, and Ginny W. is revived. Harry has apparently just killed the boy form of Voldemort - Tom Riddle. With Riddle/Voldemort gone and the snake/basilisk dead, Harry and Ron and the professor make their way upstairs and find that everyone is recovering and healing. The final battle with Voldemort is delayed a little longer. The year ends with the final feast and heading back home for the summer.

"Harry Potter and Prisoner from Azkaban"

> Placement and short details: Book 3 of 8 in the Harry Potter series. This book covers Harry's the year/9 months of Harry's third school year at Hogwarts, and was also published in 1999. Harry is almost 13 years old at the start of the book (during summer) and then turns 13 late July, and goes to school.

> Main characters: The "muggle" relatives the Dursleys, Harry, Ron, and Hermoine, and various professors, and Dumbledore. A new character here, though, is Harry's godfather Sirius Black.

> Short synopsis of the story: So, it's Harry's third year at Hogwarts... and pride is getting the better of he and Ron and Hermoine. Even still, Harry is still being hunted by Voldemort and the people around him try to help him learn and train to be ready to face him someday. But this year, Harry is also seemingly hunted down by another person - a man thought partially guilty for some murders of some wizards and witches - a man named Sirius Black. Most people think he's an escaped convict, and are even more concerned because he escaped the most "secure" prison for wizards - Azkaban. Now, Sirius is on the run. Turns out that Sirius is actually Harry's godfather, appointed by Harry's dad and mom. Sirius shows up at Hogwarts a few times and helps Harry (and his friends) as well as showing Harry that he loves him and has worked secretly to protect him, staying mostly out of sight.

Even still, something is lurking at Hogwarts, but no one can quite figure out what it is. Harry now knows that it's not Sirius... but what is it? Turns out that Peter Pettigrew is the real problem. Peter Pettigrew is an "animagus" - meaning he can changed from human to an animal as a disguise. Peter's animagus is a rat, and oddly enough, Ron's pet rat that he has had for 10 years or so. Peter is the real criminal of the crime that was blamed on Sirius. Ron is shocked and in the scuffle gets injured, so he's not able to go anywhere for a bit. Sirius with the help of Professor Remus Lupin capture Peter and get some answers out of him. Turns out that Sirius is also an animagus - his is a large black dog. But a well-timed distraction happens and Peter escapes again after the questioning.  The helpers of Voldemort work with the confused leader of "magic investigations" to urge them to capture Sirius while he is at Hogwarts. The evil team captures Sirius and are about to kill him (by using a dementor to suck his soul right out of him), but headmaster Dumbledore gives Harry and Hermoine a mission that will protect Sirius Black. Dumbledore gives them a time-turner and has them go back in time 24hrs and work to change history, help a hyppogriff escape a death sentence from a false accusation and get it to Sirius so he can fly away on it and escape, and be back before they are caught having left. Harry and Hermoine are successful. Hogwarts is safe from Voldemort for another year.

"Harry Potter and Goblet of Fire"

> Placement and short details: Book 4 of 8 in the Harry Potter series. This book covers Harry's the year/9 months of Harry's third school year at Hogwarts, and was published in 2000. Harry is almost 14 years old at the start of the book (during summer) and then turns 14 late July, and goes to school.

> Main characters: The "muggle" relatives the Dursleys, Harry, Ron, and Hermoine, and various professors, and Dumbledore. A few new characters here, including some wizards and witches from other European countries for the competitions of the Tri-Wizard Cup.

> Short synopsis of the story: This year is quite busy for Harry and friends. School. Studies. Tests. And this year, is also something special - the Tri-Wizard Cup, a competition between students of 3 wizarding schools from 3 different European countries - Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from Britain (UK), Beauxbatons Academy of Magic from southern France, and Durmstrang Institute (from northern Europe, with a German name, so seemingly northern Germany). The tournament is used to promote unity, partnerships, and communications between wizarding schools, but had been postponed years ago, when a very unhappy headmaster of a school who lost used spells to attack and kill some other wizarding school leaders from other schools. This year, headmaster Dumbledore worked with these other two schools to do a tournament and see if this could start a trend of good sportsmanship. Traditionally, the competition has only 3 contestants - one from each participating school. These students are picked by a very special "magic" cup/trophy after everyone has put their names in the blue fire, that is - everyone above the age of 17 who puts their names in the cool blue flame. So, as usual, the goblet/cup/trophy picks one person to represent each school... and then something strange happens - it picks a fourth name: the under-aged Harry Potter (remember, he's only 14).

After all of the school leaders have all compared notes and realized that Harry didn't do this - he couldn't have, and everyone seems to agree that this had to be either really deep good or dark magic or the goblet/cup thinking for itself, they all agree to the continue the championship. There are 3 parts to this competition - each 2 to 3 months apart: 1) fight a dragon and capture an egg, 2) save friends from drowning underwater, and 3) get through a maze/labyrinth and reach the trophy first and honorably. The person who gets the most points wins. So, all four contestants do well in each test, but Harry shows more loyalty and bravery and honesty and stays tied for first place. In the 3rd competition, Cedrick Diggory (the other Hogwarts contestant) and Harry work together to get to the trophy. Because Harry and Cedrick both have helped each other so much, they agree to grab the trophy together, since they reached it both at the same time. So, they both touch it at the same time... and *zap* they are taken out of the games and placed somewhere else... turns out, it's a graveyard. What they didn't know is that the trophy had an extra spell on it which turned it into a "portkey", meaning an object that can "magically" transfer someone from one place to another. They both find themselves about to watch some sort of satanic ritual with a fire and a cauldron. The dark wizard there instantly kills Cedrick, and then uses "magic" to tie up Harry to a grave marker with a grim reaper on it. Harry then watches and his own blood is used in this ritual that turns out to be the "resurrection" ritual to give Voldemort a body again, using many things, including Harry's blood to do so. Voldemort has returned, and can now amass an army. Voldemort then fights Harry wand to wand... problem was that Voldemort has someone else's wand and it malfunctions, releasing ghosts of those he has last murdered, who then stand in between Voldemort to give Harry just enough time to get to Cedrick's body and call the portkey/goblet over using "magic" and escape back to the real game. Harry explains much of this to Dumbledore and then another guy (impersonating Mad-Eye Moody, a Hogwarts professor) grabs Harry and takes him back to the castle to finish killing him - interrupted by Dumbledore and other Hogwarts staff. The ceremony is wrapped up as diplomatically as possible, and a funeral for Cedrick takes place. Everyone has some food and shares goodbyes and goes home for the summer.

------------------------------------------------------------------

"Harry Potter and Order of Phoenix"

> Placement and short details: Book 5 of 8 in the Harry Potter series. This book covers Harry's the year/9 months of Harry's fifth school year at Hogwarts, and was also written in 2003. Harry is almost 15 years old at the start of the book (during summer) and then turns 15 late July, and goes to school.

> Main characters: The "muggle" relatives the Dursleys, Harry, Ron, and Hermoine, and various professors, and Dumbledore. A bunch of new and old characters show up to help, teach, train, and protect Harry as things are moving quickly toward a final showdown with Voldemort.

> Short synopsis of the story: So, Harry is in his 5th year, and everything seems to be okay, though many know that Voldemort is up to something somewhere. Harry is about find out just what he is up to - prepping for a wizarding war to take over Hogwarts and more, if he can get it. You see, a few more Hogwarts professors are now on Voldemort's team. And they are either trying to stop Harry from getting to Hogwarts or trying to kill him themselves, or at least capture him so Voldemort can kill him. One new professor Dolores Umbridge is especially irritating. While Harry is still at his mom's sister's house, Umbridge sends some "dementors" (dark mean ghosts) to sneak up on Harry and try to vacuum his soul right out of his body. But, Harry is ready for the attack and protects himself and his mean-spirited cousin from the attack (for which his cousin is really grateful). A few days later, some Hogwarts officials come and take Harry to a safe place. That is when he first meets this ultra-secret "secret society" (yes they call it that) called the Order of Phoenix. Dumbledore and the rest of the Order of Phoenix (or OofP as JK abbreviates it in her own writings) believe that Harry will eventually fulfill a "prophecy" and either kill Voldemort once and for all, or die trying. The OofP intends to keep Harry alive and train him as much as possible before that final conflict. When it's time for school, Harry and students find everything basically normal at Hogwarts, aside from some new professors - including Umbridge. And, even worse (in the book's eyes), Umbridge has taken over the "Defense Against the Dark Arts" class this year (a class they take every year) only this year she is not going to have them practicing "magic" spells, she's just going to let them read about them. And she is quite willing give detention to any student who objects - in a very sweet tone, of course. Harry speaks up too much and gets detention - many nights of writing "I will not tell lies" on a piece of paper with a "magic" quill that carves it into his hand until it's permanent.

Harry, Ron, and Hermoine come up with a plan to work on practicing spells anyway. So, Hermoine rallies up a whole team of them, and they use a secret room that's hard to find to practice in. They call this little fraternity/secret society "Dumbledore's Army" or DA for short. After quite a few weeks, they are all making really good progress... until they are finally discovered and Umbridge tries to punish every single one of them.... Dumbledore and a few other staff members don't allow her wishes to happen, and everyone is excused with a warning. But, in that process, Harry and Ron and Hermoine find out that there is a "prophecy" about Harry and Voldemort's futures. So, they go to find it - and are attacked and almost killed by Voldemort and his team who also want the "prophecy". But, thanks to the help of some of Harry's friends in the DA and from the OofP, they all escape - though the "prophecy" is smashed, and Sirius died in the battles to protect Harry.

When Harry gets home, he realizes that he's missing some information, and when Dumbledore arrives, he explains everything to Harry - about his parents' death, the love-spell that saved him, the power Voldemort has, what the "prophecy" said, etc. And, that there are things that exist that keep Voldemort alive so he can't be killed - that is, until these are destroyed. Harry finally understands that he must fight Voldemort in a death match... that's heavy stuff for a boy only 15 years old. Dumbledore and Harry discuss start a discussion on the things that help Voldemort stay alive - called "horcruxes". They plan to discuss this more next year. Time for the final feast, then goodbyes and spending the summer with the Dursleys.... Speaking of the Dursleys, the OofP gives a strong yet friendly warning to them to treat Harry nicer this summer.

------------------------------------------------------------------

"Harry Potter and Half-Blood Prince"

> Placement and short details: Book 6 of 8 in the Harry Potter series. This book covers Harry's the year/9 months of Harry's sixth school year at Hogwarts, and was also written in 2005. Harry is almost 16 years old at the start of the book (during summer) and then turns 16 late July, and goes to school.

> Main characters: The "muggle" relatives the Dursleys, Harry, Ron, and Hermoine, and various professors, and Dumbledore. More new characters join and sides begin to form as the final showdown with Voldemort ticks closer.

> Short synopsis of the story: Harry, Ron and Hermoine keep in touch over the summer off an on, and get to more fully compare notes at the Weasleys home and at Hogwarts. One thing's for sure, it'll take team-work to find these horcruxes and then figure out how to destroy them. Dumbledore is now directly training Harry. Dumbledore and Harry are able to figure out a what 6 of the horcruxes are. 1) the "magic" diary of Tom Riddle, 2) a "magic" ring that Dumbledore identified and put on - breaking a spell of some sort and getting injured in the process, 3) a locket that Dumbledore has almost located, 4) Bellatrix's (a lady who is one of Voldemort's right-hand helpers) cup hidden in her vault, 5) Voldemort's snake, and 6) an unknown object which turns out to be a tiara or mini crown. What neither Dumbledore nor Harry realize at the time (but they find out in the 7th book) is that Harry is kind of the 7th horcrux because his blood was used in the "resurrection" satanic ritual for Voldemort. Each of these horcruxes have to be destroyed and destroying them requires using something else of "magic" - a sword, a basilisk fang and a "magical" fire are the three used.

So both Dumbledore and Harry have each destroyed one, so 2 of those horcruxes are destroyed - the diary destroyed with a basilisk fang, and the ring destroyed by the "magic" sword. Which means that there are 4 or 5 left. Dumbledore takes Harry with him to go find one of them - and they do, but Dumbledore gets a seemingly mortal injury in the process. Right after Harry and Dumbledore return from that expedition, Draco Malfoy (Lucius' son) disarms Dumbledore and then Professor Snape executes the final spell (oddly, at Dumbledore's agreement with Snape) and Voldemort's team cheers. The trio is then working to finish their studies for the year as well as track down any of the rest of the horcruxes. Harry, Ron and Hermoine try hard to find the sword, and the other 3 horcruxes, but can't. Everyone goes home saddened for the lost of Dumbledore, and knowing that the war with Voldemort is coming. They also know that next year is going to probably be a rough one. But, they are safe and they can work as a team.

------------------------------------------------------------------

"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows"

> Placement and short details: Book 7 of 8 in the Harry Potter series. This book covers Harry's the year/9 months of Harry's seventh school year at Hogwarts, and was also written in 1999. Harry is almost 17 years old at the start of the book (during summer) and then turns 17 late July and goes to school.

> Main characters: The "muggle" relatives the Dursleys, Harry, Ron, and Hermoine, and various professors, and Dumbledore. The other characters are a variety of "good" wizards and witches, and "bad" wizards and witches, as well as various members of the Hogwarts staff.

> Short synopsis of the story: Summer is interrupted by bad news in the city - the "news" pretends it's damage from weather disasters, but apparently it's really Voldemort and team capturing people with magical abilities and either forcing them to join him, or murdering them. But, for Harry, summer is also interrupted by the OofP (Order of Phoenix), who have a plan to get Harry to a safe place before they are attacked by Voldemort's team again. The plan is to use some "magic" potion to make 6 of Harry's friends look like Harry so that Voldemort's team can't kill him as they travel to the "magic" safe location. A few of Harry's friends die in the skirmishes. But, Harry and most of the team are safe. So, they hide out until school starts, then Harry, Ron, Hermoine and friends go back to Hogwarts... but after he witnesses a few attacks and hears about others, Harry decides that he's going to drop out of school and hunt down horcruxes so that he can be ready for the final duel with Voldemort. So, Ron and Hermoine join him. The trio almost gets killed several times along the way, but slowly but surely they do find and destroy each horcrux - except for Nagini (so 5 down, 1 to go). This is about the time that they watch Snape get murdered by Voldemort so he can get the full use of the wand back from Snape. The trio sneaks up to Snape just as he's dying, and Snape tells them to catch the tears so they can look in the memory-viewer and learn from what he's seen and use that info to help in their search. In the process, they find out that Snape had been working closely with Voldemort until Voldemort murdered Harry's mom, who was a good friend of Snape. From then on Snape played a careful game of pretending to be good friends with Voldemort while actually working closely with Dumbledore to get Harry ready to fight and kill him. Snape played his role so well that Harry thought he was an enemy. Also in that memory-viewer, Harry learns that he is the final horcrux - because of that satanic "resurrection" ritual, and he and Voldemort sharing blood. So, it's then that Harry realizes he must die to break that.

So, Harry goes out into the forest to meet Voldemort and lets Voldemort zap him with the "killing curse". And it looks like it works.... but it doesn't. You see, because Voldemort attacked him while they shared blood (in the book's view), all Voldemort did is break their bond between them - Harry's mom's love-spell is what revived/ resurrected Harry. But Harry only learns that after he is dead for a few minutes -because he sees his own imagination of what Heaven will be like and talks to Dumbledore who explains these things, and then Harry is back in real life, pretending to be dead - though bruised from the attack and falling to the ground. Harry pretends to be dead all the way up until the final battle line with Voldemort's team on one side and the Hogwarts team on the other. Neville Longbottom, one of Harry's good friends, stands up to Voldemort, and Voldemort tries to kill him, but is blocked by shield spells that Harry is sending out while running around under the invisibility cloak that he's used so often - a gift from his dad and Sirius (godfather). Harry stays hidden until the battle goes into the castle, then Voldemort and Harry duel... and as you probably guessed, Voldemort loses, Harry obtains the "elder wand" that Voldemort stole from Dumbledore, and Neville kills the snake Nagini - barely saving Ron and Hermoine, and then Voldemort finally dies.

With Voldemort dead and Harry possessing the "elder wand", the rest of Voldemort's team flees. With Hogwarts in shambles from the "magic" battles, and quite a few of Harry's friends dead - including some of the Order of Phoenix, there is plenty to be sad about... but all things considered, the battle is over. Harry and the team at Hogwarts have won. Voldemort is dead - forever. So... they are thankful and plan to move forward from here. The story ends with a scene 19 years later. It shows/describes Harry has married Genny W (Ron's little sister) and has 3 little children - 2 boys, 1 girl. And they are taking their 2 boys to the Hogwarts Express to send them off to Hogwarts. And, of course, they see Ron and Hermoine - who are now married, and who have 2 little ones of their own. All four of them work at Hogwarts on staff. They think life is good as the Hogwarts Express leaves the station... the end.

"Harry Potter and the Cursed Child"

> Placement and short details: Book 8 of 8 (or sort of 8 of 7) in the Harry Potter series. This book covers Harry and his family's adventures 19 years after we last saw him in Hogwarts.

> Main characters: Harry and Genny, Ron and Hermoine, and various professors, and staff members, and Dumbledore in the picture (as well as others), etc. Also, we see a variety of new characters as we are supposedly looking at the "next generation" of wizards and witches, including some old nemesises that become sort of friends - like Draco Malfoy, who now has a son of his own.

> Short synopsis of the story: So, Harry is now 36 or so, as JK picks up with the last scene that the 7th book ended with. They think life is good as the Hogwarts Express leaves the station... the end... but it's clearly not the end - yet. Because what no one knew back in the day was the Voldemort had a daughter, named Delphini Riddle, but she pretends she's Delphini Diggory. Delphi (as her nickname is) dupes Harry's son Albus and Dracoa's son Scorpio to steal a better time-turner from Hermoiane's office ("Ministry of Magic") so they can go back in time and "fix" things... but what she wants to do is reverse time and have Harry killed and Hogwarts run by her dad so she can be with him. Harry and team must go back in time, find their children, then work up a plan to stop Delphi from messing up history and the future. In the end everyone learns some lesson in satanism - *ahem* and I mean friendship and loyalty and apologies and forgiveness, etc. It's nice when satanists can unite to fight a "common enemy" - you know? But, Harry and his friends win the day and save the past... er future... sort of both, and satan's team is free for another day. The end (so far).

... There is simply far too much content to add to this, so I'll just post this as a stand-alone piece. Expecting to post more soon.
