Why honest Christians should not/cannot rightly vote for Mr. Trump

Taking that for granted, I’m answering a question posed by one of my friends (a follower of Christ) in hopes that it encourages other people too! ~ your growing bro, SH]

A friend asked me why I was saying that Christians should *not* vote for Mr. Donald Trump. This was my reply.

Good question! Thank you for that question, [friend]. Let’s look at some concerns. What we have here is a man who professes to be an honorable leader, but he is not. The Word of God talks about how God will bless those who refuse to take bribes (2Chronicles 19:7; Proverbs 15:7). Mr. Trump had to take many bribes to stay in leadership. I'm surprised more Christians are not aware of this. Anyone in the billionaire status has had to do a lot of 'favors' for others rich tycoons... it's just how American high-powered business works right now. Another key note about Mr. Trump is that he didn't keep his first wife, or his second. Many will say, so what. But, it does matter. Why? you ask? Good question. If a man is said to have multiples of s*xual adulteries and loses the truth of a wife so much so that she divorces him, it shows that she can't trust him - why should we. But, Mr. Trump didn't just lose 1 wife - he lost 2, to this same parade of perverse living. A man does not set up in Lost Vegas and grow big and not get tangled in s*xual immorality, gambling, and other illegal activities. Mr. Trump is guilty on all counts, though I'm sure his high-powered friends will keep him out of prison as long as they can, because he's their partner in crime. This is how sin works.

Beyond that, Mr. Trump has been 'prayed over' by the lying group called NAR ("New Apostolic Reformation") and as many honest Bible teachers rightly note, they are neither "new" nor "apostolic" nor a "reformation". Continuing on the Biblical reasons that we should not vote for this man. Mr. Trump makes many boasts, but most of them have vague wording and some of them he has already reneged on. What's the point? He's proving that he is not a man of his word... but we already see that with his multiples of 'affairs' and 2 divorces.

>>> Conclusion: So... What to do from here? Also a good question. Here’s my plan and prayer. Do we give up? No... we watch and pray, asking God to intervene next. We are in the "Church Age" (Revelation 2 and 3) and 2nd Corinthians 5 teaches us that God works through His ambassadors, which is also explained in Ephesians 5:11 and Ecclesiastes 8:11 ~ It's time for the righteous to start standing up more boldly to abusers, sheltering the victims and pulling out of the problem situations (such as the pagan school systems, and the corrupt 501c3 corporations) and to go back to God's model in His Word. ~ I think we're about to watch something stressful, and yet something amazing ~ because of 2nd Thessalonians 2:3,7.
